The comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation consists of an intellectual assessment to assess ability level, a comprehensive assessment of academic skills to assess levels of reading, written language, and math, and a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive processing skills. This comprehensive evaluation assists with the diagnosis of learning and or behavioral problems, as well as assists with the identification of the individual’s strengths and weaknesses. Once the evaluation has been completed, our school psychologists generate a report with findings and provide recommendations and interventions appropriate to address the needs of the individual. Both research and evidence-based interventions are included in the report to support both home and school settings. The results can be shared with the school to assist in the development of a 504 Plan or an Individual Education Plan (IEP) -- also known as a Learning or Student Support Plan in private school settings.

Re-evaluations. It is best practice for students who have been diagnosed with learning issues to undergo a complete re-evaluation every 3-5 years. It is helpful to see how individuals have improved with the prescribed interventions as well as to identify areas that continue to need to be addressed or any new problems that may have arisen.
Collegiate Services. For students with diagnosed learning disabilities, our team is also experienced in advocating for services at the high school & collegiate level. Our evaluation services for high school or college students entail the same procedures listed in the Evaluation Services section of our website. Our reevaluation services for high school students and college students involve a records review, current data, and conducting additional assessments, so that a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Learning Support Plan may be updated to meet a student's high school and collegiate requirements. Recommendations for accommodations in re-evaluations may include, but not be limited to:
